Server-side tracking

Your best conversionsshould not disappear.

Browsers, blockers, and fragile pixels can weaken the signals your ad platforms receive. I build a controlled server-side layer that sends cleaner events without pretending privacy rules do not exist.

A familiar story

Let's put your mind at ease.

You're not special—and in this case, that's good news. You'd be surprised how many business owners face the same tracking problems.

01

It starts quietly

Something stops adding up.

Shopify records the order, but fewer purchases reach Meta or Google Ads. Event match quality slips, campaign performance gets harder to explain, and nobody knows exactly where the signal disappeared.

02

Then comes the spiral

“Is it only my setup?”

No. Tracking can drift for dozens of perfectly ordinary reasons—often after your business, website, or marketing stack changes.

Here's the relief

You're not alone. And it's fixable.

The right diagnosis turns a worrying mystery into a clear list of causes, priorities, and next steps.

It could be...

Browser restrictionsA blocked pixelMissing identifiersBroken deduplicationA consent changeAn unreliable endpoint

The warning signs

Weak signals leave bidding systems guessing.

01Is Meta reporting fewer purchases than Shopify?
02Is your event-match quality lower than it should be?
03Are browser restrictions causing important events to disappear?
04Are browser and server events being counted twice?
05Does nobody monitor whether your server events are still working?
06Are you unsure what data is being shared—or whether consent is respected?

How I fix it

I build a stronger signal path you can actually control.

I help you move from fragile browser-only tracking to a measured server-side setup. I map every important event, configure deduplication, respect consent choices, connect the right destinations, and test the result against real transactions—so you know exactly what improved and why.

01

Signal design

I define the events, identifiers, data boundaries, and destinations with you before adding infrastructure.

02

Server container

A server-side GTM environment receives, validates, and routes approved event data.

03

CAPI connections

Meta CAPI, Google Ads, and compatible destinations receive consistent server events with correct deduplication.

04

QA and monitoring

Real journeys are validated, errors are surfaced, and the final architecture is clearly documented.

The outcome

Numbers your team can act on.

More resilient conversion delivery

Better event matching where reliable identifiers exist

Correct browser-and-server deduplication

Greater control over vendors and shared data

Good questions

Before we get started.

Will server-side tracking recover every lost conversion?+

No responsible implementation can promise that. It can improve delivery and control, but it does not bypass valid consent choices or guarantee complete data.

Do I still need browser tracking?+

Usually, yes. Browser and server signals often work together. The key is to give each event a stable ID so platforms can deduplicate both versions correctly.

Is server-side tracking right for a small site?+

It depends on conversion volume, ad spend, signal quality, and operational readiness. A diagnosis can determine whether server-side infrastructure will create enough value now.

How do you handle privacy and consent?+

Consent state and data minimization are part of the architecture. Server-side tracking should improve control over data—not become a way to ignore visitor choices.

Stop guessing where the conversions went.

Let's find the leak and fix it properly.
